FINAL COMMENTS: This always seems like a simple program with limited use, but with a little creativity, a user might be able to make a nice project. It could work as a still version of Xtranormal.

FINAL COMMENTS: TimeGlider seems like a simple to use timeline creator. I don't like the limited free version (trial). It does, however, show images along the timeline, which I like very much. I wouldn't pay for it, but I would probably use my 5 free timelines.

FINAL COMMENTS: I've never been a big fan of VoiceThread, but it pops up on lists of Web 2.0 tool favorites and on certain technology listservs so it must appeal to a lot of people. It seems more trouble than it's worth. It allows interaction with a picture and can be an option as a presentation or as a teaching tool. I would just lean in a different direction.
